“You know, as much as I wanted to be back in the car at Mid-Ohio,” said Tomy, “I really appreciate all the concern and care I’ve received from NASCAR. Throughout this whole process, they have continually reached out and followed up on my injuries and my well being. They truly treated me as part of the NASCAR family.”

“The guys at TriStar have put a brand new car together for the weekend.,” Tomy continued. “I was able to run a few laps during this morning’s practice and everything felt great. Both my body and the car. I’m confident will get a good run in this weekend.”

“Lastly, I need to thank all the fans that reached out over the past several weeks,” noted Tomy. “All the emails, Facebook posts, Twitter messages… it was very humbling. I truly want to thank everyone that left messages. It was a great feeling.”
