“I’m really excited to be back in the BAR1 car and to be driving at Road Atlanta,” said Tomy. “This is such a great track and historically, a fantastic race. I’m really looking forward to it.”

“Johnny [Mowlem] and I were part of the squad that ran down the leader at this year’s Daytona 24,” noted Tomy.  “Johnny is an extremely capable driver and knows how to manage the car. Marc Drumwright, Don Younts and I know what we need to do… run clean and run at good pace. Petit is potentially a 10 hour race. I think if we all do our job and take care of the car, we’ll do well.”

The Walk

In 1974, high-wire artist Philippe Petit recruits a team of people to help him realize his dream: to walk the the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. As a boy, Petit dreams of performing daring feats for dazzled crowds. As an adult (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), his life's ambition comes true when he becomes a high-wire artist who stares death in the face with every step. Under the guidance of mentor Papa Rudy, the daredevil devises a plan to walk on a tightrope attached to the north and south towers of the World Trade Center. With help from his team and against all odds, Petit attempts the seemingly impossible stunt on Aug. 7, 1974.
