Tomy Drissi Will Two-Time The Weekend at Mid-Ohio

August 15, 2014

Tomy, a Trans Am Champion, will also rejoin the Tony Ave crew driving the No. 4 Trans Am Corvette. The always fast No. 4 will also display The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles livery.

“Tony is notorious for building and fielding fast Trans Am cars,” said Tomy. “He’s undoubtedly one of the best builders in the paddock. Last year we pulled off a new Mid-Ohio Trans Am track record with this car. I know we’re going to fast right off the trailer. We had a few issues during the race in 2013, so I’d like to reconcile that.”

“It’s going to be a busy weekend for me,” added Tomy. “But I love this track. This place is a road racers dream. It’s got plenty of good passing zones, good straightaways and high-speed corners that really let the driver do his job. As much fun as it is, though, you really have to be on your game working through traffic. There’ll be plenty of competition in both series… so it’ll be a fun weekend.”
